While at the retreat, I was asked by the monastics in Upper Hamlet to be their official photographer and help make YouTube thumbnail images available for each dharma talk as the retreat progressed. Through this work, it was incredibly fulfilling to spend time with some monastic friends I already knew and get to know a few that I hadn’t met before. What a joy. I also savoured some of the best views of the sangha - it truly is something special to look out at 500 people listening with full presence in a dharma hall.
